Three Dice, One Decision — Your Winnings Start Here
Sic Bo is a traditional Chinese dice game that has become very popular in live casino offerings today. At apt789, you can play this game on your mobile phone alongside a live dealer. Three dice are shown through close-up cameras with real-time switching, and you can watch the result from a single view.
The core idea of Sic Bo is that you predict the outcome when three dice are rolled. Because you can start with a small bet, both new and experienced players enjoy joining in.
How many ways can you bet in Sic Bo?
Sic Bo offers a variety of bet types, each with different payout odds depending on the outcome of the three dice. You can see the main bet types in the table below.
| Bet Type | Description | Payout Odds (Amount) |
|---|---|---|
| Big / Small | Bet that the total of three dice will be 11–17 (Big) or 4–10 (Small) | 1:1 |
| Odd / Even | Bet that the total will be odd or even | 1:1 |
| Single Number | Bet on a single number from 1–6 appearing; if it appears more than once, the payout increases | 1:1 to 3:1 |
| Total Sum | Bet on a specific total of all three dice (e.g. 10 or 14) | 6:1 to 60:1 |
| Double | Bet that two of the three dice will show the same number | 10:1 |
| Triple (Specific) | Bet that all three dice will show a specific chosen number | 180:1 |
| Any Triple | Bet that all three dice will show any matching number | 30:1 |

Tips Every Sic Bo Player Should Know
Start with Big/Small
In Sic Bo, the most common bet is Big/Small. The payout is only 1:1, but it has the lowest chance of losing — a great way to get started without needing any prior knowledge.
Choose the bet that suits you
In Sic Bo, the higher the payout, the lower the chance of winning. High-payout bets like Triple should only be played with small amounts.
Manage your budget
Keep each bet to no more than 5% of your total bankroll. This way you can play longer and keep your losses in check.
Mix your bets
You can combine multiple bets in one round, such as Big/Small together with a Single Number. This gives you a better chance of winning something each round.
Stop when you're on a losing streak
When you keep losing, taking a break instead of chasing your losses is the healthy mindset every Sic Bo player should follow.
Choose a Live Dealer table
Live Dealer tables let you see the game play out in real time, which builds confidence in the fairness of the game. apt789's Live Sic Bo tables are open around the clock.
